		DIMENSIONS Our skirting boards are available in a wide range of heights, depths and lengths. We also offer custom heights for no extra cost.
		HEIGHT		Our Grooved I (S) skirting board is available in 11 different standard heights ranging from 50mm - 300mm.
		DEPTH		Our Grooved I (S) skirting board is available in 12mm, 15mm, 18mm, 25mm and 30mm depths.
		LENGTH		Our Grooved I (S) skirting board is available in 3050mm and 4200mm lengths.

		FINISHES Skirting Express can offer a wide range of finishes on our skirting boards:
		UNPRIMED		No white primer has been applied (i.e. raw MDF). Product will require a primer coat before any finish is applied.
		PRIMED		Two coats of primer is applied during this process with sanding inbetween coats. Product will require a final paint finish.
		GLOSS		Two coats of primer is applied as well as one coat of gloss leaving a hard and shiny finish.
		SATIN		Two coats of primer is applied as well as one coat of satin leaving a matt/gloss finish.
		EGGSHELL		Two coats of primer is applied as well as one coat of eggshell leaving a matt finish.

Great Product at a Good Price

Went with Skirting Express due to the favourable pricing for the skirting I wanted. Great product, nice straight skirting and the 4200mm length meant only a couple of mitre joints. Went for the gloss finish which isn't shiny like glass, probably closer to satin but as it is sprayed it is very smooth indeed. Well worth paying for that to be done for you! Hand-painted brilliant white gloss from Screwfix on the corners blends well with it. The paint was a little thin on a couple of the grooves but easily touched up. The grooves are also perfect for lost-tite screws, just a bit of white wood filler and they turn invisible.

Dropped one star because of a bit of damage in the middle of one of the boards that I had to sand fill and paint - They could be much better wrapped for transport - others say well wrapped but mine only came with shrink wrap around 15-20cm at each end, would've been better to have shrink wrapped the full length for protection and probably avoided the damage. Delivery driver was 30 mins later than scheduled but not a huge deal, delivered them to the doorstep with care so really I just think it was the poor wrapping for transport that let them down the 1 star.

I used this skirting all around the house. It came fully primed and in excellent condition. Well wrapped and protected. Particularly on the edges.

I would recommend this to anyone.

New build, replacement skirting

Having just moved into our new home, I discovered that although the house is less than 18 months old, the previous owner had removed a section of skirting board, which I needed to replace. Finding somewhere that would supply just one short length of matching skirting board without an exorbitant shipping charge proved quite difficult. Thankfully, Skirting Express had the exact shape and size needed and shipping was very reasonable. The product I ordered was primed and it was easy to install. Delivery time and communication was all good. Happy with this purchase.
Good product, but beware delivery

This is the second lot of skirting, and matching architrave, that i have had from SE. I have found them very good - fast, flexible and good product. I asked them to increase the depth of the groove by 2mm, and they were happy to do this.
However, SE use Tuffnells for delivery, and they often subcontract. In this case they arrived in a luton van that did not have the length and they were bent like bananas. It was a good product, but an unhelpful delivery.

Delivery was pretty quick about a week and all came undamaged even after the attempts on the delivery driver. Boards where primed well and quality seem great, only comment is that the groove milled into them was a little sharp but after painting they where fine.
